Message from Pastor Mills:

Dearest Members of Epiphany,

It has truly been a blessing that we have been able to worship together in our beautiful Church building these last six weekends, and we thank the Lord for it.  As you are likely aware, Executive Order 20-32, issued by Governor Holcomb on Thursday, June 11, 2020, authorizes religious entities to continue holding in-person services through the end of the day on Friday, July 3, at which time the Executive Order expires.  The Governor may rescind, modify or extend those provisions upon the expiration of the Executive Order.

Given that our governing authorities have given Epiphany this opportunity to continue worshiping in-person and the robust attendance at our in-person church services, the Board of Elders and I have decided to continue holding in-person services through Sunday, June 28, while at the same time complying with the Executive Order.  Set forth below are the procedures for conducting those services.  We will let you know when those provisions in the Executive Order have been rescinded, modified or extended and what our plan of action will be in reaction thereto for the following Saturdays and Sundays.

We are continuing to take a very cautious approach in conducting these in-person services.

We are placing a cap of 70 people on attendance for each service.  We will continue to offer a recording of the Divine Service on YouTube every Sunday for those who do not wish or are unable to attend in person.  Please do not feel pressured to attend.

Thank you for your understanding.

In order to promote the health of our congregation, the Elders will continue to facilitate the safety precautions we have been taking to enable us to continue worship in our Church.  We will keep these measures in place for the foreseeable future and continue to follow the guidance of the State of Indiana, adjusting our practices in response to how that guidance may change over time and based on our experience and your feedback.

Pastor Jeremy H. Mills

We gather for worship every Sunday at 9 a.m. After the service, we enjoy fellowship time with doughnuts and coffee.

Sunday School

Sunday School and Adult Bible Study both begin at 10:30 a.m.

  • Youth Sunday School

Led by volunteer teachers, Sunday School classes are offered for students in preschool through high school. In class, the younger children participate in a short lesson, create fun crafts, and sing Bible songs, while the older children spend more time in biblical study and discussion. This year’s curriculum may be found on the Concordia Publishing House website.

  • Adult Bible Study

Pastor leads the Adult Bible Study following the Sunday service. The study is structured like a university lecture. Participation and questions are always encouraged!

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
