As a member of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, we confess the Christian Faith as it has been faithfully taught in the Holy Scriptures and the Book of Concord. We believe that Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself on the altar of the cross to deliver us from sin, death, and the power of the devil, and that we might have everlasting life in Him. Gathered around God’s means of grace, we gladly receive the gift of salvation through faith alone.

Tenets of Lutheranism

God loves all men even though they are sinful and rebel against Him continuously in thought, word, and deed. He has chosen to save them despite their deep unworthiness, and so has sent Jesus Christ, His Only Begotten Son, to love the unlovable and save those dwelling in the shadow of death.
By His suffering and dying in the place of all men of all times, Christ has won forgiveness of sins and eternal life for them. To those who hear the Gospel and believe in Christ, the Father gives this eternal life without any worthiness or works on their part.
The Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are inerrant and infallible; in them God continues to reveal His Law and His Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. They are the only rule and norm of the Church's teaching.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. — Ephesians 2:8, 9 NKJV
